What do we exactly want from life?

Our mind is always focused on what we want and we are busy wanting something all the tym. Before one want vanishes, another comes up.
Have you ever asked yourself.." what do we exactly want??"
 
Well no one knows what they want from life, but itz fixed that what they get they are not happy with that, because as maslow theory states as one want is satisfied another arises...
 
We want many thing our life, the list is @ Infinity, because when we get the one thing we go for the other and keeps on continue.
 
that's a million dollar question ...as far as i think its very difficult to know about our longings because they are hidden deep inside us and only by satisfying those will provide us the ultimate contentment...but that calls for self introspection to get them out..and if we are to look at material objectives, they never provide satisfaction on long term basis because its an endless list, one demand is satisfied another sprouts up and that goes on and on... and therefore the question 'what do we want in life' remains unanswered..
 
Life can have a number of meanings and philosophical meaning is just one of them. I recently found a good answer to this question on Yahoo Answers. It was not only about the philosophical meaning of life but also covered this meaning in other terms like, temporal success and survival, its meaning in terms of wisdom and knowledge, ethical, religious, spiritual and other ways.
