WHAT AFTER MBA (there is no job)?

hey evn in our college, cond s so bad.. companies are coming but for only sales sales sales.. evn i m facing alot jus becaus having engineering background hw can i start my career with these type of jobs.. i mean any graduate ppl can do it well.
 
thr is 1 more option........

in dis scenario u can go another mba degree ex. if right now u r pursuing finance den u can go for mba marketing. dis wil definitely help u. bcoz sitting home for 1 yr or more is not an option at all bcoz once new batch comes out no one wil ask u. & most of the institute dont offer duel degree. & most imp thing is for dis second mba degree u need not to give entrance exam again & wil have to do only specialization yr. dts it guyz.............

so think @ it . its one of d best options.........
 
I am pursuing an MBA along with my job, though it cannot be compared with a regular MBA, still it was this fear that prompted me to go for an executive course. Right now seeing the current situation, though this year we see a decline in the amount and package of placements, but everybody's hoping that if we keep our heads high and just work to our potential we will definitely have a bright future.
 
hello guys!!! people with dual specialisations are not doing well leave alone one specialisation. What i recently heard from one of my seniors is that around 11 companies have dropped their allotments for placements. This is not only in case of my colleges but also most college in and around chennai. I would not agree with ankit by saying NO, there is no placements around!!
 
What After MBA

Hey guys,

I have done by MBA in Marketing and now working in an animation production house,

i am planning to get some more education but not able to pin down on what should i learn or what i can learn.

already have done Diploma in Adverting and PR and also in Event Management,

me looking at some course on Strategy Management. ( where in i can learn how to build strategies etc.)

can any one share any info on the same

hi will you tell me if i go for another MBA it wont be wastage of time if not how will you explain it
i am student of IITTM (PGDM, SERVICES) my spl is MKTING and FINANCIAL SERVICES now tell me what should i do
 
not all sectors are down...thre are certain sectors with neutrally correleated with market like mobile communication,fmcg is also not faring bad..target them
 
The gloomy scenario is noticeable very strongly in the UAE even though it is not publicised. Dilution in emoluments and job losses are looming in all sectors.

I think the very essence of taking up an MBA course is not only in marketing/investment banking etc. but in getting trained in being an entrepreneur. This way one can generate employment.:israel:

i guess the best thing to do now is...make sure the co you select and the profile they offer to be of prime importance..d pay shud be d least of all concerns..surely tough times will go by..n we will get to bite the pie when al''s well n BULLISH!!

i have a different approach for all of you
who said there is no job,
there are lot of jobs it's just they are not as per our likes and your own (ballooned) disires.

First answer me,
why did u guys do MBA,
1) to learn some thing new
2) to face challenges in life or to live an easy life
3) to create or do something new and better than others

right

there are huge job opportunities ion various fields like
1) for marketing
a) Entertainment industry
ample jobs and people required in Tv channels, Radio, Animation companies, Film Production house and all these fields needs people for marketing / getting business.
b) Education
yes, friends, there are so many classes and institites opening up, all of them require people to either market or educate their students, MBA can definately share their knowledge part time or full time,
c) Food
lot of food joints opening ( national scaled ones) they need people to handle their franching business / stores / strategies
d) Medicines / research etc etc

2) Finance
yes friends, you need money first to handle anf set out good investment options, guys try to explore what are the investment options do just look at Share market or insurance and mediclaims,
use your brainds, understand what does a middle class people need
1) increase their money and also have it safe,
find out more and new unexlored opportunites for them
can be having investment opportunites from other succesful business / franchinsing options, Venture capital ( many people investing in small amounts and getting shares) etc etc
many more

grab this opportunity to become a job creator!!..I think we are well equipped to start on our own. Do analysis of different sectors and see where as an individual u can fill the gap to some extent
