Were men actually afraid of women's power??

When we talk about mythology we come across various forms of "Women".. Shakti, Saraswati, Laxmi.. and a lot more than just this.. Then coming to reality we had great revolutionary women like Gargi, Mythri, laxmibai and many more . They are all wonder women and symbolize power.. Then.. something terrible happened and things changed.. The power is lost somewhere or has become dull..Were the men afraid of the power of women and so they suppressed her?

What are your thoughts on the topic.........??
 
According to Quran, a woman is born from the man's chest. I'm sorry if i'm wrong, it is said in such a way that women are as equal to men and hence from the level of chest or shoulder.

Now, I say that it is the wicked society and reasoning around them that has resulted in such a change.

Did you know that in every other species, it is the female that is the dominant one and not the male. We humans are just an exception created in this world. It is never that men or women is dominant, some people turn out be unique and get noticed.

We have so many fighting against corruption, but why is ANNA HAZARE special? It is like that.

It is the reason that seems to be suppressing a person...

If a woman is in politics she has to be brave a dominant, so she is!
A woman for her family, she has to show her love, so she is!
There are a majority exceptions of being dominated by men and held by abuses! The reason for it is the society.
 
I do not think that it is right even shivji gave the teaching of tantra mantra to parvati ji to become shakti. And we are all equal and have equal rights. There are some issues regarding women domination but as we all know that nothing is perfect we have to make it better as much as possible.
