Hey der scud not much ppl do opt for cat after hotel management so it tends to bring a suprise effect on seeing such a profile..

But u know what, you do get one of the best shots to get in2 iims than any other candidate if u clear you cat..

IIM's or say n e b-school try to bring diversity in the profiles of they students.. You could say 70% at iims are engineers but why is it so coz more than 70% who apply for cat are engineers.. Now wt we have left is the other 30% werin the selectors try to bring as much diversity as possible..

Now here you are a candidate who has done hotel mngmt and there wouldnt be much ppl who givin cat with tht and that ma frnd makes u a unique candidate in the eye of the selectors..!!

Better chance of hittin the bullzeye dude..!!:big_grin:

hey guys,
dis is deya....m doin my BMS from rizvi colg, jst gave 4th sem exams....awaiting 4 results...n wanna do my MBA in HR. 4 nw m working with an IT distributor, INGRAMMICRO as HR consultant....n m enjoying my job!!!
wt i wud like 2 kno is, it is possible 4 me 2 do my 100 marks project on RECRUITMENT...cause m into tht only here.....

Hey der deya..!! Welcome to mp world..!

Well i would suggest u go for the recruitment project for sure...!!

Why??

First of all u'lll get frst hand information from your present company itself..

Second you could do a survey among the hr on the process and hw it can be better and as u working down there it would be easier for you to do

Third as u work this couple of month in this vacation you can note many things which are there on the practical scenario and not in theory.

Fourthly can use the present companies case study to provide a base on you conclusion and you wont be questioned as you working there..

Finally the work ex you get right now if you do attach it with the project during you viva's it would be very beneficial for u..!! It would surely work as an extra credential on your project..

P.s : If you need more info on this subject do open a thread in project query section in hr.. With a title "RECRUITMENT PROCESS"..!!
