Stats might say that swine flue is - comparatively - less than dangerous as compared to many other diseases, but then had it been ignored - this would too have proved equally lethal - or in fact more lethal as many of our hospitals - especially those in non-metros are not equipped to handle this disease. Media's help - by over hyping it was tht it created a kind of mass frenzy - which although looked bad, but forced authorities to look for this - to not to ignore it , to open some more test-labs to detect it, to direct people how to avoid it. Without this it would had been a bit difficutlt to control this - especially - due to the fact that a few of importer of this disease were those not-much-faithful to governemnt hospital like a monther-son duo in Delhi not going to RML.
Whatever happens - media does bring a mass frenzy - and in our country everything - in order to move - does required a comparatively bigger push..."Mind it, we're like this only"!
