Ghani Oil Industry under the fold of KVIC has made considerable progress during last four and half decades. Initially during 55-56 there were only 7067 traditional as well as improved bullock Ghani and production was worth for Rs.42.00 lakhs. This figure has now multiplied into manifold. Ghani pressed oils being cold drawn around 60 degree Celsius retain natural nutrients, natural characteristics aroma, taste, pungency, colour and vitamins whereas the machine pressed oils lack these properties due to high temperature generated during processing of the seeds as the crushing takes place in between metal parts.
