use of aptitude test

Do u think Aptitude test helps in company placements??

Well my view..

i am strongly oppose the aptitude test in all companies.. it depends the nature of the duties for the opted post.. i have heard even customer care executive post also want the aptitude test. i don't understand to talk with the customer and giving clarification required the aptitude. Even i seemed many govt. organisation is asking year of world war, first panipat war etc. why?.. the answer is nothing .. they want to eliminate many of them.. the same way, the new name of elimination is aptitude test...

an aptitude test not only helps to gauge your IQ level, but also helps to measure your overall capability to deal with any particualr question. they might not precisely ask questions in respect to the post offered but would definitely be of great help for the company to know your general level of intelligence.
