Marist College
(MBA & Master in Information System)

Marist College, recognized for excellence by U.S. News & World Report, TIME Magazine and the Princeton Review, and by Barron's Best Buys in College Education, is noted for its leadership in the use of technology to enhance the teaching and learning process.

Founded in 1929, Marist's 150-acre campus overlooks the Hudson River in the heart of the historic Hudson Valley, midway between New York City and Albany, the state capital.

What started as a school for the training of future Marist Brothers has developed into one of the leading colleges of the arts and sciences in the Northeast. Marist is ecumenical in character and reflects the ideals of the founder of the Marist Brothers, St. Marcellin Champagnat: commitment to excellence in education, a pursuit of higher human values, and dedication to the principle of service.

Marist is dedicated to the development of the whole person in a way that will prepare their graduates for an enlightened, sensitive, and productive life in the global community of the 21st century.

As a residential college, Marist provides a variety of living situations. Freshmen live in their own residence halls - an arrangement that builds class spirit and helps students meet people and develop lasting friendships. Upper-class students have a number of options, including traditional residence halls, townhouses, a garden-style apartment complex and a mid-rise residence hall in the center of campus, overlooking the Hudson River.

At Marist, faculty and staff are committed to making the transition from home to college life as smooth as possible. Mentors (adult residents) are available around the clock in freshmen residences to offer advice and to respond in emergencies. Faculty advisors are there to customize a unique program of study to suit you and your goals and to help you plan your schedule. At Marist, they consider changes in majors a natural part of the process of getting to know yourself and your strengths.

The Academic Learning Center offers a wide range of services, including academic advising, tutoring, proofreading and organizing review sessions for exams. If personal problems arise, you always have the professional staff of the Counseling Center to turn to. Career counseling and information about off-campus jobs, co-ops, and internships are provided to Marist's active Office of Career Services.
