Unrest in India a panacea?

In Egypt, people are on the streets to bring down the Govt.Whats interesting in this protest is that the Army has joined the people so there was complete chaos in the country.Anti-Govt protesters have bought country to stand-still.There was looting everywhere and cops are trying their best to disperse the crowd.Egypt crisis is the antecedent of the Tunisian crisis where people wanted to bring down the monarch.I would say this is a dangerous sign where entire population of a country is marching on the streets against the Govt. When someone looks at history, there have been instances in the past where such unrest happened. The crisis is similar to a volcano which has been brewing for many years.Even in India, ppl are mired by controversies, corruption, poverty, inflation, unemployment. Can an unrest in India solve its issues?

Pour your thoughts.

absolutely unnecassary. though the reasons for protests in egypt are to some extent simlilar to aggravations in india, the basic difference between the ruling authorities deems it a joke at democracy. people ideally shud have power to decide their representatives that make leave people at advantage. and thats what the egyptians are fighing for. india, considering its 60 years of coming, is doing comparitely well vis-a-vis its peers in maintaining and providing respectable livelihood to its people. True, we are faced with plethora of troubles, but whats is satisfying is that govt. is taking action against it. what needs remedy is expediency, but in the country with mre than 1 billion people, it will take its time. in case someone wants to take china's example, well, consider urself lucky to express dissatisfaction in this forum - :)
