Despite how late you’re in past four months won't matter much if you keep regular in three months before appraisals. Your late mark image will be changes in these three month.
4) Organized Desk and you
Yes, your desk is mirror for you. This show how organized you are. Make your desk clean and neat. Keep thinks proper in place. Remove unwanted papers from drawer. Keep flower and calendar to showcase.
Keep documents handy. Do proper email responses and work must done on deadline. Make yourself aligned so you become perfect.

Yes, add some innovative ideas to work process. Make them executed. Most of company required new product and new service ideas which they add big budget in financial year. Just imagine if your idea is selected for development than this would be career change development and it assure your big appraisal and promotion too.
