Today, employees are highly career conscious, especially younger generation. They don't mind changing jobs too often if it helps them earn more and grow faster. They are ready to shift their loyalties for an extra buck, an additional bonus or any other monetary consideration.
yes we can see that trend, job hopping has become a trend in most of the organizations and organizations are struggling to make amends interms of attrition levels in the company, also the employee loyalty is missing these days from youngsters, they are here for just one reason to earn more and more money even if they are doing a good job and are having a great future there that doesn't make any sense to them and leave the organization just for hike in money.
Today's youth fall way behind in terms of loyalty towards an organization, the organization spends so much on their training and other aspects and by the time they deliver, they leave the organization, and organizations without strong employee policy or law have to give away their employees for this trend that we are seeing lately.
Previously, it was likely to hear that Mr.so and so has spent 30 yrs in the same company and now is receiving a life time achievement award for the work and dedication towards the company but now the awards would be for number of jobs changed in a life time.
