Trade Union rights under threat

1. Trade unions are increasingly threatened. The new trends impact workers by undermining their Right to Freedom of Association.

It also slows down or totally puts an end to their struggles for better wages, living conditions, health and safety, safe environment, right to food security and safety.

2. Companies and Corporate are undermining the collective bargaining rights of workers.

The labour administration and the judiciary have also made this possible. Judiciary is increasingly reinterpretation of law in a manner that is derogatory and restrictive of trade union rights and rights of the workers and unions, as provided by law.
