think awhile and comment!!

The person who makes a success of living is the one who see his goal steadily and aims for it unswervingly. That is dedication.

ya i agree to one extent but along with complaining one should suggest alternative logical way to do that particular thing .... in this process a modified improved idea grows up

The complaining shud b healthy with gud intensions on mind....then i guess da whole idea of complaining changes......n people learn from it......

the one who is not in any big b-school like my passion IIM-A , can he beat the line....he wants ever ....or is just keeping one in good ...impractical illusion.... i am taking about my case , so dont take personal

i dnt think its illusion!!! its nt a fiction, IIM is real! da dream is achievable....it jst tht its difficult....thomas edison had to make 449 trials before he got it rite!!! n those 449 r actually da times he failed, bt its called trials n nt failurs.....raj we hv 2 try hard, if tht doesnt work harder n go further......things which cum hard r da things we price da most......u stick ur dream b beleive in it with ur heart, m sure u vl get 2 it.....
Impossible is nt a word.........thts an illusion......n we all shud get rid of it it puts us down!!!!

deya

achievements itslf is nt an illusion!!! Its reality......really speakin its ur trust on urslf......if u hv trust on urlsf u cn do it, NO MATTER WT!!! no1 cn change it ever..........i hv experienced it, i hv seen it.........thts y m sayin, jst stick 2 ur dreams n trust ur self.........NO 1 can stop u.........

is it not trusting your self an illusion in itself!!!!! when we all knows external factors come and destroy your inner self in a smash ......

No never trusting ur slf cnt ever b illusion..........infact internal forces work better than external forces. bein pessimist always let 1 slf down, it always works against us, kind of tries 2 destroy us from inside......U hv 2 2day fight with urslf n stick 2 da optimistic raj n win an internal battle, n dis battle is cause of a small frustration..when u look back time, u vl find so many such moments when u felt its over nw.....bt later found ki tht ws a small phase n tht it jst went by....same thing happenin 2 u nw......its a phase n it will go.....n u vl realize tht soon

Lifez nt easy yaa........bt if ur inner soul is set, external knockouts vl nt b of tht much effect.....its like jst a small knock which u cn get up v soon......so jst b sure of ur inner battles, n external vl b easy.....

C life is nt always on our side u kno!!! We always shud hv hardships in life so tht we cn value wt we get later......so i think sticking 2 ur dreams is da best thing....

Legends are not born legends; rather they have a moment in history where they indulge in a legendary activity that defines them as a legend. Potentially there's a legend in all of us

case ----study

The story given below is quite interesting and really gives us an insight into DECISION MAKING.

Which one will you choose ?

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track. The train came, and you were just beside the track interchange. You could make the train change its course to the disused track and saved most of the kids.

However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make................

Scroll down if you have no patience.

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, I thought the same way initially because to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally.
But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are.
The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.

The person who wrote the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens.

If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

Exactly.... At first i also thought in the same lines, but before reading the explanation, i thought of the term 'disused' and then realized that if the train was to diverted to the disused track, it would have surely risked the lives of 100s of passengers.

I believe that we have the choice to either focus on the positive aspects of our lives or dwell of the negatives

Against Him those women sin who torment their skin with potions, stain their cheeks with rouge and extend the line of their eyes with black coloring. Doubtless they are dissatisfied with God's plastic skill. In their own persons they convict and censure the Artificer of all things.

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
Therefore, on every morrow, are we wreathing
A flowery band to bind us to the earth,
Spite of despondence, of the inhuman dearth
Of noble natures, of the gloomy days,
Of all the unhealthy and o'er-darken'd ways
Made for our searching: yes, in spite of all,
Some shape of beauty moves away the pall
From our dark spirits...
