The sly and brilliant chef Paul Prudhomme dies at the age of 75. He was the one who introduced quintessential Jambalaya, Blackened redfish and gumbo to the world. He was considered to be the best chef whose crawfish and sweet potato was the talk of the town and people should stand in a queue to satiate their hunger. His K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen in the city's French Quarter has been the landmark for ultimate dishes where Prudhomme sparked nationwide interest in Cajun dishes. Frank Brigtsen, who worked for Prudhomme for seven years, said he brought Cajun cuisine into many restaurants.
