The minds of youths rotted by games?
Ahhh, the gaming world where a lot of youngsters spend their time, staring blankly into the t.v screen, consisting of violence and or racing. Is the gaming world a threat to the newest generation? Is it possible that games are infecting the minds of thousands of youths? Or is the gaming world a safe haven for these youngsters to retreat after a day at school or college.
I for one believe that the violence on some games varies, in the past games have even been band from the video game stores becasue of the brutality and mind-numbing gore in them. This to me shows a lack of attention by the game developers to the effects of this 'Hardcore Gaming.' One reason that the game entitled 'Man Hunt' was banned from game stores was because a boy in his teens followed the game to such detail he got an axe and killed one of his friends!
The impact of games depends on the player, but who can judge the outcome of this violence, if it happens once, it will happen again. But who? Where? When? Will it get out of control? What do you think?
