About the College
Fisher at a Glance

Since 1916, the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University has produced exceptional leaders who meet the challenges of a changing global business environment through creative and effective solutions. In 1993, the college received a gift from alumnus Max. M. Fisher, a leading industrialist, philanthropist and public servant. Mr. Fisher's desire to see his alma mater become one of the premier management institutions in the country spearheaded the construction of a state-of-the-art, six-building campus. In recognition of his commitment, the college was named the Max M. Fisher College of Business.

Since then, the college has undergone a corporate turnaround; narrowing the focus of its programs, recruiting leading faculty, placing a renewed emphasis on experiential learning, and offering a wide range of international study options. Faculty and staff have also established new scholarship and fellowship opportunities, strengthened their commitment to diversity, and created innovative academic and corporate partnerships. As a result, Fisher's international reputation continues to rise and is reflected in rankings which place the college among the top 25 business schools in the nation at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

MBA Rankings: A Top Program
We understand that rankings offer a solid first indicator as to the quality of a particular MBA program. Being ranked consistently among the best MBA programs in the United States and 9th among public universities are just two indicators of our MBA program’s dedication to excellence. We have also been evaluated by areas of expertise, and we are proud of the results. But in addition to our rankings, we hope you will take the time to determine if our school’s particular identity and character are right for you.

Funding: Over 60% Of MBAs Receive Merit-based Funding
We often get questions about the cost of our program and financing your MBA. We are very in tune with our students’ need for support beyond their personal assets in order to go to school. That is why we have pooled our resources, offering MBA scholarships, resulting in merit-based funding for the vast majority of our students.

Master in Business Logistics Engineering

Masters of Business Logistics Engineering Overview

Designing and coordinating the flow of goods and information through supply chains is one of today’s fastest growing and exciting professions. This growth is the result of changes in the business environment such as the globalization of markets and sources of supply, the availability of information technology and an unprecedented level of competition among firms. Companies are continuously challenged to reduce logistics costs while simultaneously providing higher service levels to their customers.

In response, many firms are looking for a new breed of logistics professionals who combine strong managerial and technical skills. To prepare you for this promising field, Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business and College of Engineering are jointly offering a new specialized graduate program, the Master in Business Logistics Engineering (MBLE). The logistics and supply chain management program is a long standing tradition at Ohio State. It is currently ranked 4th in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
