Explosion killed at least 28 people outside a cultural centre in the Turkish town of suruc near the border of Syria. Killing people under the name of religion or any other factor is not only repugnant but also a heinous crime. Terrorism is that coward act which carries gruesome activity under the name of religion or for their personal gains.

Preliminary evidence suggests an Islamic State suicide attack caused the blast, according to two senior Turkish officials. “Our initial evidence shows that this was a suicide attack by the Islamic State,” one of the officials, who declined to be identified, told Reuters.

“We call on everyone to stand together and remain calm in the face of this terrorist attack which targets the unity of our country, “the ministry said in a written statement. News reports said 300 people from the Federation of Socialist Youths were staying at the centre and were preparing to travel to Kobani to help with the rebuilding.

“I saw more than 20 bodies. I think the number of wounded is more than 50. They are still being put into ambulances,” one witness told Reuters by telephone, giving his name as Mehmet. “It was a huge explosion, we all shook.”

Pervin Buldan, a senior politician from the pro-Kurdish HDP opposition party, said local officials were investigating the possibility that it was a suicide bombing. She said the blast happened as Turkish and Kurdish youths gathered at the cultural centre ahead of a planned trip to the town of Kobani in Syria, which was secured by Syrian Kurdish fighters last month after an assault by Islamic State militants.

“Turkish and Kurdish youth had come to cross into Kobani, and there were three or four days of activities planned,” she told Reuters, adding that HDP lawmakers were on their way to the scene. A Turkish security official told Reuters 20-25 people had been wounded and confirmed that some had been killed, but could not immediately say how many.

Immobilize bodies of corpse were lying beneath trees outside the building myriads of questions for the world. We live in a society where hatred is embedded in our veins; dark clouds have taken the beauty of peace from us. Terrorism is the universal problem and there is no religion attached to it. Terrorism can be eliminated only when all the countries unite and join hands and attack on the roots of terrorism to achieve global benefits.
