Teaching As Profession

In India, every parent's dream is tht there child becomes either doctor or engineer......which was also portraid in d movie "3 idiots"......Do u think in d race of becoming doctor or engineer.....profession lyk Teaching is loosing its scope?

Yes it is.. people are forgetting that the one's who creates doctor, engineer are teacher, because without them they can't learn a single bit of doctor or engineer. So even teachers profession is also good to make a carrer..

Well every profession can be viewed from various perception...

For me, Teaching hasn't lost its scope or importance till date. It has been a valued profession and i duly respect it.

The fact is everyone and anyone cannot become a professor\teacher..

Hence you may find few indulging in this profession - the ones who possess the guts and the confidence to handle the crowd maintaining the discipline and many things altogether.


Every Profession has got its specific amount of place in the society, and if the quota exceeds the limit there is bound to be imbalance..which is not good

Well! In my opinion, no profession in this world is bad, required that u have an interst and talent in it, U can master it easily!!

My personal opinion about this is NO.

I feel how the school curriculum is put forth makes the child decide what he wants to become. If he likes the way the teacher teaches, he might turn into a teacher. As per my personal experience many of my friends who have attained private course degrees, are teachers along with the job. But the teaching has to be practical as that interest the student helps them to select their ambition.
