Like food, this is something which will always be needed so ya, it is necessary why not.

Also, major threat new technology like a vaccine for all cures developed by a non pharma company think about it, its possible.

yup. If done well, it is an extremely powerful tool. Unfortunately most of the time we confuse between past achievements and strengths. Likewise failures and weaknesses etc.

The SWOT analysis has to be done good. Else we reach to wrong conclusions. The pharmaceutical companies are growing in a large way. Indian companies have been doing good.
