Supremacy of Logo - An Introduction

In today’s fast changing business environment, a company must express its identity in everything that it does. When companies lose eight of their individuality. Their real purpose and strength gets defected they start making mistakes. They make inappropriate acquisitions; diversify in to build alleys and make inferior copies of other companies’ products. That is why identity management has assumed such large proportions.



Identity is expressed in the names, symbols, logos, colors and rites of passage, which the company uses to distinguish itself, its brands and its constituent companies. The way, in which a company brand name appears, the advertising strategies adopted by the company, the attractiveness of the logo as well as the base-line determines the amount of awareness and the effectiveness of the company’s campaigns, which in turn adds value to the brand name.



Due to increasing competition even small companies have felt the need to change their identity to keep pace with its competitors. This study mainly revolves on the effect of logo on the company’s identity.
