The Summer School is an excellent opportunity to nurture entrepreneurship by motivating students to conceive new ideas and take them to realization. Select project ideas will get project funding from Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) under Technopreneur Promotion Programme (TePP) on completion of summer school. At the same time they explore many new career opportunities that modern business offers, particularly in the areas of Innovation.
Students will learn effective tools for generating ideas and solutions to problems; discover how to generate ideas creatively, and generate ideas and potential solutions to a real world issues.
Students will learn a verified process for efficiently finding breakthrough opportunities and assessing these opportunities. The focus is on actionable techniques for creating new products.
After learning new tools and techniques, students will have an opportunity to solidify their learning by putting these tools and techniques into practice.

The summer school is intended for Engineering, Management and Design students. Students in 3’rd or 4’th year of engineering or design, irrespective of their branch of study are eligible to apply. Similarly students of 1’st or 2’nd year MBA irrespective of their specializations are also eligible to apply.
The summer school price is Rs. 7, 000 (Rs. 6, 000 early bird price if you register and pay before April 30, 2009) and includes instructional fees and materials. It also includes lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments. Separate accommodation for outstation boys and girls is available at additional cost.
