JBIMS secures 100% summer placement for 2012-14 batch​

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) has secured 100% summer placement for first year students of the 2012-14 batch of the MMS course. All students of the 120-strong batch secured summer internships and the average domestic stipend was Rs 91,000.

The number of registered companies was 103, out of which 83 companies participated. The highest stipend was Rs 2 lakh, according to the placement report of JBIMS.

Engineering graduates make for the bulk of the batch of 2014 and account for 79% of the batch. Commerce graduates account for 10% of the students and students with management background account for 5%.

Companies that participated were from sectors such as banking financial services insurance (BFSI) and investment banking (Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, SBI, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda), FMCG (Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive), pharma (Abbott, Novartis, MSD Pharma and Sanofi), information technology and consulting (HCL, Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini), manufacturing (Cummins, AkzoNobel, Bajaj Auto), chemicals (BASF) real estate, media (HT Media, Star TV, Cinemax), and telecom (Vodafone).
