whenever u warn people plz inform them y they are warned, like in my case only kartik informed me; so that the kind of mistakes could be avoided. further, when u reduce their warning meter inform them y itis being lowered, this would motivate them to do that kind of things!

Can't people see their own warning meter that u want people to be told that?

WELL SAGAR AFTER SO MANY DAYZ OF UR DISCUSSSION ON RULES.....U STILL HAVNT GOT TO IT........U STILL POSTED UR MAIL ID ON MY POST........I HOPE IT DOESNOT AFFECT UR WARNIN METER......

Well if they are so concerned, let them read the newbie rules first... and properly and adhere them strictly. Once they do that, their warning meter would come down gradually.

If u are so concerned, just PM one of the mods and enquire about the issue.
 
Warning Meter is there to control spamming upto a certain extent.
We want more and more members being self moderated rather than being warned..

As for the suggestion of informing the member it doesnt make much sense if it was so we would have kept invisible meters which can be seen by mods and admins only but thats not the case here we have pretty much visible warning meters so that the user can see the progression and be more self moderated.

One of the reasons is re-posting when the answer is already given and increasing posts.. Snap i just increased 10% of warning meter..!!:big_grin:
