Right nowindian stock market is volotile due to fears of a global recession. Market value has dipped to such a low level that markets across the globe have been taking a hit almost without a break these days. The slide, notwithstanding a few relief rallies here and there, has proved unstoppable so far despite some concerted efforts made by governments and central banks across the globe.

Now no one predict how the market will move and individual investors are better to stay away from the market.

total investment of FII up to oct 24 2008 is $ 54.5 billion.
FII heavily invested in year 2004-05 amonuts to $ 36 billion,
in 2007 they invested around $ 17.bn and in 2008 so far they have redeemed $12 bn, and we don.t know how much it will go due to financial crisis in US.
so retail investor are better to stay away.

I feel this is time to buy cos most of the stocks are available at fair value.So if someone is planning to enter stock market this is right time to do so.I want to stress the point tht all stock purchase should be made with long term view.

this is d correct time to buy, buy some good stocks, where the companies have strong fundamentals and keep the portfolio as its is for at least 2 to 3 yrs ... till the time them market bounces back

yes, it will surly make impact on india for short time, but in long run we will manage.

Indian stock market was raising just due to some foreign investment. It was doomed to settle down, because all those unethical way of business practiced by these foreign companies will not lead them to sustainable success.

I think this is the right time to invest... With Government also willing to attract FIIs into the country, going long at this point will help fetch more returns in the coming year.. Just have a look at the exit points by following market closely......
