The data was analyzed to compare the ratings defined by gender, performance and potential.


Gender, potential, and performance, each consisted of only two categories, male and female, average and high potential (HiPO), and 4.0 or under, and over 4.0 for the high potentials (HiPR).


The mean ratings for these groups were compared using an independent sample Mini Emotional Intelligence Test (Annexure 1).


This test also helped to determine whether the employees at Tata Infotech Ltd. were expressive or non-expressive.
