1) According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.”Source 4

2) Around 27-28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted. The two regions that account for the bulk of the deficit are South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

3) Infectious diseases continue to blight the lives of the poor across the world. An estimated 40 million people are living with HIV/AIDS, with 3 million deaths in 2004. Every year there are 350–500 million cases of malaria, with 1 million fatalities: Africa accounts for 90 percent of malarial deaths and African children account for over 80 percent of malaria victims worldwide.

Most interesting fact about a teenager : his/her brain shuts down when they are nagged at.
Their brain shut downs even during exams😂
But there are real reasons for it. Like, more than finishing the exam, they will be thinking about whether they will be able to complete on time. Since the mind is distracted, it is difficult to concentrate the task in hand which in turn increases the pressure on the mind. so under that pressure, it is obvious for the brain to shut down.

In my case, my brain is on autoplay of all the songs whose lyrics I know.
And if I don't remember the lyric properly then forget the exam, remembering the lyric is the most important question

That is because when we study or do homework either we will be listening to something or something will be running on TV at home. So in exam hall, the same kinda environment is created by brain. Moreover, in the present generation we are not accustomed to hear nothing for so long time. We will be hearing something or the other. In exam hall, the silence is so threatening that brain plays its own sounds to maintain its sanity

As a kid, did you ever try to do unusual stuff like... Trying not to breath for sometime or trying to keep your mouth shut for a day .. and then failed miserably?

A lot of stuff like that. Sometimes when walking, i might bump onto the door accidentally. If i bump onto my left side, i will do again on the right side to balance it

Yes true. There are silly things like this which some people still believe in.
For example, my grandma often said that if someone bumps their head into yours, you both will grow horns. To avoid it bump again with them.
