smart work for sure cuz in todays age hard work just dont pay, i mean it does but not as well as smart work!!! Conventional wisdon says nothing replaces hard work, but we all know that continuing to work hard and not looking at ways to improve the process while delivering the same quality and outcome is a sure shot recipe for stagnating yourself. Smart work entails thinking out of the box and challenging the status quo, thereby leading to getting more done with less - less budgets, resources, head count, time what have you. Net net, I think this hot debate is definitely biased towards smart work, as long you work hard at getting smarter!!!

at first when i joined the corporate world i thought that smart work is needed and there is always better way foer doing things.I got appriciated for that also.
but after 3 yrs i released corporate world is very reluctant on digesting smart work.They will always spell out smart work but actually they mean team work and because your all team members are laggards what u could do is hard work in unproductive and old fashioned way.In front line force they need good followers and not the leaders.They presume a follower turned leader is indeed smart worker.
