Situational Ethics !!

Acc to dictionary.com Situation ethics means - a view of ethics that deprecates general moral principles while emphasizing the source of moral judgments in the distinctive characters of specific situations.

In theory, situation ethics does have an absolute norm this approach calls for the selection or acknowledgment of an absolute, but a non-legalistic, flexible application of the standard to each individual situation. The goal is to apply the absolute as best as possible in the particular situation rather than to utilize a law that fit difference circumstances.

Situational Ethics is a philosophy which promotes the idea that, when dealing with a crisis, the end justifies the means and that a rigid interpretation of rules and laws can be temporarily set aside if a greater good or lesser evil is served by doing so. However, situational ethics can be dangerous when combined with the distorted, crisis-prone thinking of those who suffer from personality disorder

Situational ethics is insidious.

Defenders of situation ethics would argue that one of its key strengths is its flexibility; it allows for pragmatic decisions to be made where rule-based ethical systems slavishly follow their own absolute commandments. It takes the circumstances into account where they ignore them, proscribing some actions 'whatever the circumstances.' As I've just shown, this can lead to all sorts of strange results. The frequent attempts to sidestep them are a tacit acknowledgment that this is the case, and can lead to some very confused situations.

Guidelines that assist in the application of the selected norm may or may not be included in a given interpretation. For example, a certain dictator views personal power as his moral absolute; if he takes a situational approach, he reflects on every situation in which he finds himself and involves himself such as to acquire personal power. He may or may not have useful guides in mind as he enters new situations.
