Should the medical marijuana industry be encouraged ?

The dispensaries doe not clarify themselves as drug rings or a drug dealer. A very basic question that they clarify is THC Terahydrocannabinol, the ingredient that is in marijuana for smoking and is available in pill form already, then is there a need to smoke marijuana available with all the problems that it brings ? Marinol is a prescription medicine which is also a drug which is mostly prescribed by a doctor and dispensed from a controlled pharmacy.


But don't you think encouraging this kind of industry would bring about a number of chain smokers or druggist in our society and what about our culture and ethics and also about other criteria.

Humanity is above everything else and if marijuana's medical properties help a person survive or suffer less, then by all means he should have the right to use it for a better life.<br><br>Even something as mundane as a knife can be used for many purposes good and bad, but we do not ban the use of a knife, we penalize people who use it to harm others.  Same goes with medicinal drugs.<br>

as for me it shouldn't, as if the permission if granted our government would never be able to find the culprits who actually misuse it
