Can't see too much wrong with children learning about it in school on my end. Perhaps the only drawback would be the parents wanting it taught strictly by them to their children for moral grounds, religion reasons, or just that was the way it has been done traditionally in their family.
I myself growing up in the U.S.A. was taught from both. Granted the school teaching was a bit more graphic, lol. But in the end it all led to the same place whether taught by my parents or school teachers. And it was not until I was 13 when we learned it in health class. My parents had spoken to me little by little about it before then. Looking back on it I was glad they did before I had the health class so I knew what was being taught and discussed for the most part.
But in the end both were a help.
