GANGULY'S RECORD IS STILL MUCH BETTER THAN SEHWAG AND HE IS THE 4TH PERSON IN ODI'S TO REACH 10000 RUNS MARK
 
well..........ofcourse sourav ganguly shld be taken back in the team........he is much better captain than dravid.........more aggressive and dont hesitate to take risks.......
 
There is no problem in giving him a chance.problem is this is been a victim of politics in game....that should have been averted....
his previous records can not be any critiria here as those were past records and this game is regarding what ur current form is!!....shud maradona play for argentina now caz he has unbeatable records??
i think saurav ganguly has potential and if he can show this on field...no reasons to set him aloof.
 
I think saurav should get place in the test team by excluding vvs laxman as he is out-of-form, and when sachin back, we can exclude one of yuvi or kaif also.

bt I think saurav is ahead of sachin now.

viru gets back his form, so we should not exclude him, ok
he is turning all-rounder now.
and ha, saurav can be used as no.5-6 bowler also in wi world cup 2007.
for this, chappel should make frndship with him & give support him also.
 
dost wat i feel is that he shud be taken back..as he is better tahn many other players in our team ..
BUT..
if in case he is nt..then he shud be honoured well & shud be gvn a dignified position in board ( he has got a gud decision making power & has been aware of current fors of all players!!!)..as its most shameful teh way we( inc all) have treated him...just becauz of fight with "chappel"..
we frgot the thing taht before chappel also...ganguly was teh one who was leading the team ahead!!!!
 
The inclusion of Saurav Ganguly in the team would be the best thing to happen to Indian Cricket.... Today's team lacks a good amount of experience which only Ganguly can provide... He is really missed in the team... I would definitely like to see him in the team and I am dead sure he will prove his immense potential and play exeptionely well as he always used to do previously.... Also his killer instinct and unmatched aggression will be an added bonus in the team...

Ganguly should definitely come back with a bang !!!!

This is a too clumsy topic as i m not "INTO" cricket.

Though, just for the dignity of India, I would prefer Sourav instead of Chappel ( The man with a twisted middle finger ) No pun Intended ;)

But i do find saurav smuggish whenever he is interviewed. I feel he is arrogant and ignorant and thinks he is god of cricket.

So these were my Smart a$$ comments about sourabh although i know nothing about his game.

ganguly is gr8 and though he may not be the god of cricket but he is the maharaja
and ppl know him better as the PRINCE OF KOLKATA in cricket.
 
why ganguly is that supreem power !!what has he done as a player at least rahul is dedicated enough and not that attitude persona which ganguly was showing those days was he not aware of what will happen if he donot perform well...you play you get seat if not you dont ,,so whether gaguly or not ....we must see him as a team member only if he perform well or let him shout so...

i completely agree with kartik ana amardeep.ganguly has been the most successful indian cricket team captain that india have ever produced.his records in both the formats has been exceptionally well.

he has been a victim of dirty cricket board politics and obviously chappel.

actually, one should not give any player in world cricket as a PRINCE.

Poor performance by dhoni in the odi series v/s wi was the effect of that only.

ha, saurav was not excluded b'coz of his performance & chappel, he was excluded b'coz of his nature, his aggressiveness, & his illoyality.

i wud like to put rahul sayings in the manner taht "we shud nt over expect from our players.."at the end of the day they are humans!!!its easy to blame their poor play to endorsements & ads but guys evn everyone of us had done the sme ...afterall who minds spinning more money???true there shud be limit to evrything!
but fr comparison bet captains :ganguly/dravid...i wud choose the former just fr the simple fact that although he has got very aggressive nature but he is a gud strategist & also has risked his captaincy many times to give chance to younger & budding players!!!
otherwise wud like to ask yyy so many mnths after his exclusion still evryone from pathan to sehwag praise him...
we shud understand the basic fact that if smone is best that doesn't mean that he is a gud leader...leadership is totally diff quality & i feel taht ganguly shud be taken back as he is a combo of a "GUD PLAYER & A VERY SMART LEADER/CAPTAIN OF THE TEAM!!!"
also, his inclusion will make our player get a confidence taht they will be nt axed if smwhere they have diff opinions than so called coach& they have freedom to speak!!!
 
sagar i heard that u wanted to unsubscribe from here. then y the hell u came back. saurav isnt selfish. if he is , prove it. . he did eveything for the team. his record is better than sehwag. his avg. in ODI'S is still over 40. there are ups and downs in one's life. had he been selfish, then how cum players like zaheer, pathan, kaif, yuvi, bhajji flourished under his captaincy. he understands his team better. its a sign of a gr8 leader. becoz of his so called " DADAGIRI" , indian cricket team is still 2nd in rankings. he laid the foundation of the emergence of these young lads. he gave them chances which helped india win as well as develop some gr8 future prospects.

i have no doubt ifd ganguly is called back in the squad.
