No i don't think sachin should retire he has atleast couple of years of cricket in him left and not to forget enormous experience he has and of course he is a gentleman cricketer. I think he can play till the next world cup-2011.

I think he still has some spunk in him...i don't underestimate him...he is the father of modern cricket....even he has played for his own records but those records indirectly have given a positive impact on our team....

Hi guys!!
I really think its time for sachin to take the back seat, its his slow game play that costs so much of a difference between winning a match and losing the same. We have witnessed glorious pasts with him because of his sensible batting style but how long can there be a Slow-but-Long hitter in the game when there are so many young multi talented cricketers ready to rocket the game to victory AND not brag it to a Cat on the wall situation.... Sorry, I mean no offense but just an opinion. Thanks.

sachin is only 36 and he still has 2 yrs of cricket with him. but playing both the forms of cricket in this tough competition n tight schedule is not possible. it will definitely reduce his efficiency. so he should select the one he is comfortable with n play for 2 more yrs. his service is always valuable to indian cricket.
