Should parents 'friend' their kids on Facebook?

To friend or not to friend is the big question facing many parents dealing with teenagers on Facebook.

Many would prefer to be friends with their parents privately on the web without their parents having the ability to post comments.


What would you do rather have you added up your mom dad in your friends list and are they allowed to view the content too as regards posts.

Parent should be the "Friend: of their child's facebook so that they can understand child better

Yes.. afterall parents should know what their kid is upto. At the same tym, parents should also not interfere unless it is necessary..

I wont mind if my parents are in my friend list on Facebook or any other site ..... it will simply make my side more clear as my parents will know who my friends are and will also get the opportunity to interact with them...................

i think should be ok to "friend" our children. What about the other way round? Should they add their partents as friend?
