I agree to your point here that it was incorrect to expel Jaswant singh who served Bhartiya Janta Party for last 30years in various capacities.

He spoke about Rajasthan's CM Vasundhara Raje's defiance and Jaswant singh praised former Pakistan's founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah. this furiated the party members and the cheiftans of BJP Modi, Murli Manohar Joshi and Vinay Katiyar demanded strick action against him.

Hence Rajnath Singh the party president was in a way pressurised by his key people, and he did wat was demanded.

It is good that every one has right to speak in favour or against but there are certain rules which every member of an organisation has to follow. Dedicating a book in praise of a person whoes sole aim was to reap the benefit by arousing the sentiments of a particular section of the society is not a good sign of a dedicated and senior party member

I think it was a right step taken by BJP. BJP is a second largest political party in india. And a party which is based upon certain ideology should always make sure that it stick to the ideology all the item. If a senior member of party is going against party ideology then it should taken proper action against him. Because this will prevent outsiders to criticize BJP as hypocrite and send the stern message to its members that BJP is a party with ideologies for which it can do anything.

Jaswant singh sack issue

I think Sacking Jaswant singh was a type of talibani type decision by BJP because B.J.P is forgetting that India is a democratic country and everyone have right to say his/her views, you cannot just take action on Jaswant Singh if he put up his views regarding Mr.Jinnah. I think that in democratic country like India there is lack of democracy in political parties and their mindsets. B.J.P must not have done this. This shows that our country is a democratic country but political parties don't let their members speak and there is no freedom for members of political parties to speak their views. Nobody can stop anyone in expressing his/her views.

100% wrong step by B.J.P

India is a democratic country where everybody has fundamental right to "freedom of speech & expression".
I cant comment whether decision to sack JS was right or not but we should emphasise more upon the reason of why this happened.

Mahatama Gandhi in 1920s said "Mohd Ali Jinnah is a leader"
Gopal Krishna Gokhale said "Mohd Ali Jinnah is the man responsible to create the unity between muslims-hindus". Later it was also supported by Sarojini Naidu.
So what exactly happened during the 30yrs span (1920-1947) is described in JS book.
Source - JS interview in Aap ki adalat on India tv.
Most importantly, very few copies of this book(consisting of 700 pages) were published till 18th Aug before this controversy arose on 19-20 Aug. So to complete 700pgs in 24hrs one needs to be a book lover and a speedy bookworm.

We cant comment about JS words about Jinnah until n unless the entire book is read & his motive about writing the same. I dont think any of the politicians (BJP supporters) who raised this issue must have read this book.

Media and others (specially politicians) just choose words to create Articles & stories about people without going into depth.

RSS chief mohan bhagwat was the man behind the decision & it shows how the cards of bjp are still played by RSS and it has learnt no lesson from its recent disgrace in general elections and that its claims to be a secular party are nothing but a sham.
We live in a democracy and everone has a right to free speech.
sacking jaswant singh who has been one of the most loyal members of bjp clearly displays the opaqueness in the party and that even after a decade it cannot emerge as the single largest party, such deep is the rot in it!
Boo BJP! YOU'LL STAY WHERE YOU ARE
A BUNCH OF OLD POWER HUNGRY EXTREMISTS!
