THESE DAYS MOBILE HAS BECOME A VERY COMMON TOOL FOR COMMUNICATION..IN MA OPINION MOBILES SHOULS NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK IN THE CLAS ROOMS APART FROM THAT OUTSIDE THE CLASS ROOM ITS ONE,S OWN TIME HE CAN USE IT BY SPENDIN TIME CHATTING ON THE PHONE OR NYTHNG ELSE BUT INTHE CLASS ROOM INORDER TO AVOID DISTURBANCE TO THE OTHER STUDENTS IT COULD BE BANNED INSIDE THE CLASS.

hi was sup?? well i do really think that cell phones shouldn't be banned at all. well with every technology there are pros and cons and we should always look forward toward the prospects.
Fast communication have become one of the biggest weapon of our time as if we cannot miss anything at any time,whether its change of class rooms or time table or a guest lecture
 
According to me they should not be banned. We should try and find a way to co-exist with the technology since it is very helpful in terms of scheduling and communication of potential lectures. Passing important communication etc. If used in the proper manner this can become an excellent tool....
 
Students Should use phones responsibly...yes phones should be allowed for the primary reson that in case of emergency their family can contact them easily...however sudent should be responsilbe enough to put their cell in silent/vibration mode before entering the college...
 
Cell phones should not be banned in colleges as it has become a need for students to carry it everywhere they go. It is also convenient as students can contact their friends or tutors easily when they need to find them. However, the usage of phones should be banned during lectures or lessons as it is very disrespectful to use it when someone is lecturing. Also, it distracts the students from listening in.
 
Its next to food, clothing, shelter needs, communication and the speed of it, no one shud ban it, although students shud behave, like SRO - SELF REGULATORY ORG'N.

PPL being continuously engaged on cel must hav called for somone to put this idea, ask for such a ban. But even during some Guest Lec n Seminars public dont put their in Silent Mode.

It happens everywhere, where it shud not. Be it Theatre, Official Meetings, many places where some fool disturbs others, making himself look pity..
 
I think cell phones are a indispensible part of a MBA students life hence a ban on cell phones will be a strict no no. But at the same time using dell phones during important lectures should not be tolerated. Cell phones should be switched off or on silent during lectures but not otherwise. To implement this we can impose a fine structure.
 
cellphones should not be banned at colleges atleast. we are no more a kid now and at this stage we are matured enough to decide what is right and what is wrong. cellphone is now a basic necessity for us after food, clothing and shelter. we are so addicted to it that we cant even imagine our lives without a cellphone.
sometimes it is not possible to live without a phone when we are expecting a call from the recruiting agency or a call to attend a seminar. thanks to the technological changes that it is now very easy to communicate and in no time.
so i firmly support the view that cellphone should not be banned at colleges.

Mobile telephones are a part of modern life and help people to contact one another easily. However, they are a comparatively new technology and manners have failed to keep pace. Some people do not realize that there are some places where a mobile telephone is inappropriate and one of these places is the classroom or lecture hall.

Children and young people go to school or college to learn, not to play with mobile phones. To allow mobile telephones in the classroom gives students the idea that school or college is not important. School or college should be one of the most important elements of a student's life.
