well firstly, the problem that India faces of woman infanticide is one of the reason for not aborting the child... but v are also a nation in which the population is growing at a faster pace than the country's economic capacity to handle it. Hence I believe that the MRTP act is correct in giving the woman the choice of abortion and with due respect to the woman's physical health. And for the betterment of the sex ratio, the prenatal sex determination is a criminal offence, which is not required anywhere except INDIA...
