Eship Club meeting Final meeting is Thursday, April 26

2424. Pizza and soda. Are you interested in taking on a
leadership role with Entrepreneurship Club?

role you are interested in. Roles: President, Vice
President, Treasurer, Secretary, Designer.

NYS Business Plan Competition Over $100K up for grabs. Competition is April 26
th
at the
Albany CNSE campus. Join us in supporting your friends
and classmates.

Quick $ for Market Research Have you heard of the Buhrmaster ’69 grant? We’ve
awarded almost 1 dozen now and still have funding
available for student entrepreneurs to test their market
before putting all their eggs in one basket. It’s a simple
application and pretty quick turnaround too. Give it a
shot. A few weeks now could save you lots of time and
money down the road.
Venture B Plan Series May 30th at the Hefner Alumni House conference room.
The forum is a great place for newly formed start-up
companies to make their first public appearance. Up to
two businesses will be selected to present in front of a
panel of investors, entrepreneurs, business leaders and
the general public at each meeting.

Follow-up from last time:
Walmart Business Plan Challenge Team Dripdrop, Nathan Pankowsky and James Davis
took 3
rd
place in the national competition held on April
12-14 and took home $5,000. Congrats guys!

Severino Interest Group Breakfast SIG breakfast meetings are done for this year. Watch for
us to restart in the fall.

Venture Summit- RPI Two dozen venture investors came to campus on April
12
th
to see Rensselaer’s scientific research as well as
startup companies. Student and faculty startup
companies were displayed and top research areas were
discussed as RPI opened its doors to the investment
world helping turn invention into innovation and
entrepreneurship.
