RR Patil Passes away Due Long Illness at Mumbai
Mumbai National Congress Party went in deep sorrow because of death of its one of the best leader R R Patil Abba. RR Patil died because of oral cancer at Lilavati hospital, Mumbai. He died at very early age of life, Abba was just 57 year old and very clean man among all politicians.
Patil was hospitalized since many days for treatment of oral cancer. Lilavati Hospital lead doctor was observing him and after situation gone out of control of cancer cause to death. He is survived mother, wife and two daughters.
His mortal remains will be kept at state NCP headquarters at Nariman Point for two hours from 6 pm for people to pay their last respects, party sources said.
On Tuesday they will take to native Amjani village at 1 pm.
Aaba has very bright political career with NCP and Sharad Pawar. He was former home minister for Maharashtra and he align Mumbai police in proper way. He was easy to access politician and always remained simple man. Most labour and union member treat him like family member. He was very close to all class of people.
He was got elected from Sangli three times. For more than five years he remained home minister for Maharashtra.
During 26/11 attack he was in charge and he is one of the first minister who did quick charge of during emergency. He was fearless man and fast process guy. He always take decision quick basis.
He had to step down as home minister after his remarks made in the aftermath of the 26/11 attacks that ‘small incidents do happen in big cities’ triggered an outrage.
He resigns from home minister post after bad comment made on 26/11 attack. R R Patil was very known to bad things about the dance bar so he took decision to put ban on dance bar in Mumbai and Maharashtra too.
This is very sad and whole Mumbai shocked. NCP Sharad Pawar is in deep sadness..
