Rising fuel prices

as we all know that most of the revenue of India comes from fuel......so its bound tht wen the international crude price increases then prices of fuel increases in India too.....which directly increases the inflation.....

Transportaion is backbone of an growing economy and fuel is backbone of transportation, by preventing the fuel price hike, the inflation in the economy can be prevented. It is not the responsibility of Govt. only. But we as common men can also shoulder the responsibility. By spreading awareness for saving fuel among all.
PCRA has initiated its move on the same path.
I, myself has started adopting the suggestions given by PCRA to save petrol.

Oil is a resource that is in relatively limited supply. The price of a barrel of oil was ridiculously high a year ago, but at least it helped to get this concept in people's minds.

I think now that the price is real low, the gov should tax a lot more than they are - and rather than waste the money on bailouts, support alternative energy products.
