Without a doubt Reliance.

I think in a couple of years, India will be known by the name of RELIANCE .

Sab jagah haath pair faila ke rakhe hai.

i believe bharti-walmart.....but reliance also has a gud chance, if govt decides to decntrol the petrol prices , reliance petro pump once again might see nice sales once again....

I go in for Walmart- Bharti ....In the disorganised retail sector the thng that counts the most is probably the way one maintains the SCM activities so as to stand as a cost effective leader. Certainly with Walmart cooperating at the back end , Bharti has an expert's consultancy at home.
definetely walmart will lead this competition in the end if we will talk about reliance retail future group is already created a big impact over it..walmart has really shown some positive interest by investing such a huge investment and i heard somewhere that walmart is already planned to bear loss for coming 2 years in india just to survive and create a huge impact over the retailers..my vote is for walmart-bharti

In my opinion, walmart bharti will emerge as the largest player in the indian retail industry because of its quality products and wide spread network.........

I think looking at the current scenario reliance will be the emerging and strong player for certain period(read short) of time. Right now Walmart is getting a feel of the Indian markets and systems. But once it announces itself in a big way, its going to be hard for all the major retail players in India. It sucks competitors and makes life really difficult for them to sustain their competency in the market... Till then reliance can make hay while the sun shines.

Definately RELIANCE. The way Reliance is growing at its pace, no wonder its going to top in next few years.

China and India are predicted to account for more than 91 per cent of regional retail sales in 2011, and by 2014 their share of the regional market is expected to be more than 92 per cent. Growth in regional retail sales for 2011-2014 is forecast by BMI at 48.1 per cent, an annual average 15 per cent.
