RESEARCH - QUESTION: What are the factors influencing the Job satisfaction of the employees in the Lycatel Plc.UK? RESEARCH - OBJECTIVES: The major objective of the research is to identify the various aspects of the Job satisfaction and the relationship between those factors with the performance of employees. RESEARCH - AIM: This analytical research is very much focussed on identification of the factors involved in the various aspects of Job satisfaction of the employees of the company. The other basic aspects of the research with regard to the performance of employees and individuals are also analysed in this research. The below mentioned are the other main aims of the research; • • • What are the major factors affecting the Job satisfaction of the employees? Does, the external factors influence the Job satisfaction of the employees? Do the systems & Processes influence the Job satisfaction of the employees? • • Are the employees satisfied with the work environment? Does, the employee benefits influences the Job Satisfaction of the employees? To identify the other factors of Job satisfaction which are being practiced in the other organisations in the Telecom industry?

Basis of the research: The research would be based upon the Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs which are applied within the organisational aspect. The needs of the employees at each and every stage of their life keeps changing and if the organisation is satisfying those needs at the required stage of the career, then, the employee would be having a good job satisfaction. This job satisfaction influences the employees towards the

attainment of organisational objectives. Hence, the job satisfaction is analysed and the areas where the satisfaction level is found to be low, would be analysed and the management would try to work on those issues. This employee satisfaction surveys give a clear view about the employees mind towards their work and the organisation.

Research Methodology: The research methodology adapted here would be a quantitative research method. The data to be collected would be all the primary data collected using a structured questionnaire, through Survey method. With prior permission and approval from the management and the project guide the questionnaire would be finalised and survey would be carried out.
