Our organization is in the process of expanding our client offerings to include People Operations services, solutions, and strategies to continue to grow our services for being a trusted operations partner for progressive organizations.
To support our efforts to create and implement People Operations services for our clients, we are seeking to build a team of People Operations staff who can design and execute upon people programs for our clients as well as assist in the development and alignment of internal systems and processes to ensure we are effectively meeting the needs of our clients.
Over the next several months (and years) as we grow this new function, we will be hiring several People Operations positions to join our dynamic team. We are looking for positions at all levels of experience and skills within People Operations - from individuals with limited experience (but a drive to learn and passion for creating more effective, people-oriented organizations) to individuals with years of experience and insight building and implementing people programs. Applicant Evaluation Criteria
Level of experience in People Operations functions (e.g., hiring, recruitment, strategic staffing, employee engagement, performance and development, culture, retention, etc.)
Ability to take initiative to design and implement innovative People Operations services, solutions, and strategies
Desire to learn and grow within current and new skills and abilities
Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and People Operations best practices
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and with clients
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in using HRIS (HR Information System), ATS (Applicant Tracking System), and other HR-related software (e.g., Gusto, Lattice)
A desire to support progressive organizations and their missions – including women’s rights, abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights, climate action, voter protection, immigration reform, equal access to healthcare, and others.
Responsibilities of People Operations Team
Create and implement People Operations consulting services that cater to the specific needs of clients including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, policy development, and HR technology implementation
Develop standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices for delivering People Operations consulting services and work with clients to implement based on their needs and culture
Provide high-quality and personalized services to clients by understanding unique needs, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring timely delivery
Maintain ongoing communication and build relationships with clients
Collaborate with clients to analyze their business objectives and develop People Operations strategies aligned with their organizational goals
Shape internal structure and processes to ensure integration and collaboration across teams to effectively meet the needs of clients
Plan, strategize, and execute upon our People Operations goals and strategies to engage clients, scope client work, and determine internal structure, alignment, and communication strategies to set internal team up for success in meeting our clients needs

Role Delineation
Junior People Operations Position(s) (approximately 1-3 years of experience)
An essential partner to our clients and will be responsible for delivering high-quality services and support. Assists with creation and implementation of people operations services, responsible for a wide variety of task execution, and takes initiative to fill gaps and ensure exemplary fulfillment of deliverables and projects.
Senior People Operations Position(s) (approximately 4-9 years of experience)
Leverages a depth of working knowledge of people operations processes and best practices. Leads a wide variety of projects, initiatives, and deliverables from inception to completion with minimal oversight but a high degree of collaboration. Designs solutions and engages clients to cultivate buy-in and build strong working relationships.
The Location
Because Salesberry Group’s clients are located throughout the country, this position is fully remote and can work from anywhere in the continental US.
Compensation and Benefits
Positions will be full-time and salaries will be set between $50,000 – $95,000 annually - Applicant experience, sophistication of people operations knowledge and implementation, and seniority of position will be among factors in determining final compensation.
Junior People Operations Position(s) - $50,000 - $60,000 annually
Senior People Operations Position(s) - $70,000 - $95,000 annually
Salesberry Group offers 3 weeks of accrued PTO and unlimited sick leave. Additional PTO policies include parental leave (12 weeks), bereavement, voting, and blood donation.
Salesberry Group provides medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees only. Employees can add dependents at their own cost.
A 401K plan is available for employees to make pre-tax contributions, with no employer contribution at this time.
