Job Description
We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our core team and help build the infrastructure behind AI Live Chat. You’ll work on systems that power real-time interactions, intelligent agent behaviors, and seamless integrations across the web — all at scale.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves clean code, and wants to help shape the future of AI-powered customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Build core systems using Python, Postgres, and AWS.
Design and maintain APIs that support real-time video chat and AI agent behavior.
Optimize performance and scalability, ensuring our AI avatars feel fast and natural.
Harden security, especially in cloud environments, and proactively mitigate vulnerabilities.
Write clean, testable code, and help maintain high engineering standards through code review and documentation.
Solve hard problems, debug complex issues, and help evolve our system architecture as we scale.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience in software development with strong fluency in Python
Deep knowledge of Postgres and SQL
Production experience with AWS services
Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React)
Strong grasp of RESTful API design
Git proficiency and comfort with version control workflows
A track record of writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in agile teams and working asynchronously
Bonus: leadership or mentoring experience
