Senior Business Analyst – Digital / Data Platforms​


Contract: 3 Months (Extension Possible)
Location: Europe (Ideally Denmark / Northern Europe)
Engagement Type: Contract via Ivy Tech

Overview​


We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a strategic engagement with a Top 20 global pharmaceutical company. The role will work closely with Ivy Tech, our client, and internal product teams to help shape and deliver digital solutions that support global healthcare data platforms.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technical product teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, translated into technical specifications, and implemented effectively.

This role requires someone with strong analytical capability, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills, combined with experience working in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare data environments.

Key Responsibilities​


  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, end users, and product teams to translate business needs into digital solutions



  • Lead requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution definition across complex digital initiatives



  • Analyse internal and external business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation



  • Translate business requirements into functional and application-level requirements for engineering and product teams.



  • Document the relationships between end users, business processes, data, and applications.



  • Support the delivery of data-driven digital platforms that serve healthcare and life sciences stakeholders.s



  • Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.



  • Contribute to project planning, product strategy, and delivery oversight.



  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives, regulatory considerations, and end-user needs.s








Required Experience​


  • Senior-level Business Analyst experience (7+ years preferred)



  • Proven experience working in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare data environments (mandatory)



  • Strong ability to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements



  • Experience working with digital platforms, data-driven systems, or enterprise applications



  • Strong understanding of business processes, data structures, and system interactions



  • Experience working in Agile product environments



  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams



  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills



  • Comfortable working in client-facing or consulting environments

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders



  • Facilitate discussions between business, product, and technical teams.



  • Support change management and user adoption across digital initiatives


Project & Product Delivery


  • Contribute to product and project strategy.y



  • Provide structured input into delivery planning and prioritisation.



  • Manage risks, identify issues early, and support resolution plans.



  • Experience working with Agile frameworks and product management tools

Location & Engagement​


  • Based in Europe, with a preference for Denmark or Northern Europe



  • Ability to collaborate with distributed teams



  • Contract engagement initially 3 months, with potential for extension depending on project needs
