What You’ll Do
This is a full-cycle sales role, but let’s be real. Your number one job is closing deals.
You will:
Run inbound video sales calls. We don’t do phone sales. These are on-camera, relationship-driven, often one-call closes.
Do light outbound (warm outreach, personalized LinkedIn outbound, ABM style targeted reachouts).
Qualify leads and build real rapport with marketing leaders.
Explain the basics of SEO, link building, AEO, brand mentions, listicles, and citations clearly and confidently.
Manage deals, tasks, and follow-ups inside HubSpot. This is non-negotiable.
Keep your pipeline clean, moving, and alive. Not a CRM graveyard.
Collaborate inside Slack and keep simple processes updated in Notion.
Make prospects say, “Finally, someone who isn’t bullshitting me about link building.”
What You Need (The Must-Haves)
Base SEO Knowledge
You don’t need to be an SEO strategist, but you should understand:
How link building affects authority and rankings
Why AEO (AI Engine Optimization) matters in 2025–2026
The role of brand mentions, listicles, citations
Why B2B SaaS companies need authority, not fluff
If you know what DR is and why marketers care about authority, you’re probably good.
Sales Instincts
You follow up like it’s a sport.
You like closing deals.
You’re confident on video calls with smart marketing leaders.
You know how to listen, not lecture.
You keep momentum alive.
You’re not afraid to try different sales tactics. We want creative people.
You’re comfortable being a team player working closely with marketing and sales ops.
