I stick to d judges as one worthy –honorable reality show strike in may mind ie boogie woogie.i respect it bcuz they r not giving right to audience to judge contestant for sake of earning money .even they r giving good judgment every time.

They can avoid partiality of the judge’s n internal management. They can give chance to fresh or hidden talent. N no individual responsible for their decision as mass voting system give d result
demerits
Sometimes partiality can b happen or perception of judges can also affect their decision
they can b influenced by the outer glitter of the contestants so chances to avoid or ignore the required talent of the crown

hey its good for viewers as we get entertainment but as per source i came to know most of the show formates are decided just contestent has to act according to them.....everything matters for TRP only..........
 
I think audience is the better judge as compared to the judge present in the reality show.But the reality show should not use state wise votes as it effects the decision of selecting a right person.
 
Judges vote or audience vote,everything in these so-called reality shows is all pre-planned worthless melodramatic sham,I don't know watches this,and people do watch these shows,that's why we are being bombarded with these shows every other day.
In India every new concept is over-used to such a level that people almost suck it dry...use every possible it can take to exploit that concept...be it in telecom,advertising,reality tv,movies you name it....
 
i think a mixture of both is the best one to be seen in the grande finale bcoz as we can see the effect of same in the popular reality show music ka mahamukabala....shankar mahadevan who is the taj of india would have been eliminated in the frst series of voting itself had not been the judges marks been counted....it was jus bcoz of his marks he is in finale now he deserves to be in....otherwise voting is all crap....
 
prefer audience....only if the curent votin system is changed...( look at the Mavan shweta Controversy - Nach Baliye 2 contestants..-- buying 200 sim cards and distributin among frnds etc..2 vote as much as they can....ridiculous...)
 
It's ridiculous i think - all these nobody's reaching fame and even celebrities start these boring shows about their lives. YAWN. At the height of interest, i think it will eventually become too boring for people to really enjoy it.
The ***** fighting ones like Rock of Love are losing their appeal. It just seems more and more set up. Why would a famous rocker need a show to get a girlfriend and of those girls, they are all the same...small, blonde and large boobs...but they throw in some unique ones so it looks like he chose all types of girls. They are cast to add appeal to the show and get money from it. I know someone that was cast in a show about something that wasn't even true to his life but he had to pretend it was. Most of them are actors, models and wannabe stars. talent shows I do think ARE talent shows.

all these shows have judges and audiences n contestants themselves who vote n choose d winner. well many a times choice of the audience and that of the judges differ... and der r several controversies surrounding these television show. recently mona singh won jhalak dikhlaja title though shveta salve was d judges favorite. moreover the sim card scam involving shweta n manav gohil of nach baliye that was exposed threw light on d means adopted by the contestants. looking at this wat do u think wats rite?? shud there be judges who choose the winner or audience? the basis of chosing the winner may be different... popularity, sympathy votes n also regional biasis....

its thus tough to chose a winner. and after a winner is declared many controversies surround them... whats ur opinion... are reality show judgements fair or unfair?????

Audience judgement is correct but there will be lot of controversies . So we need judges.
 
A reality TV show. The shows themselves contradict the name. They say 'reality', however, most of the shows are already scripted. Yes, the contestants are selected from the general public based on their talents(mostly) but what after that?
