It is not unheard of for public schools to raise their school age limit to help lower the dropout rate.
According to an article the average maximum age one can attend public school is until 22 years of age. In Texas they recently raised it to 26 years of age.
What do you all think about the age being 26? Has it gone too far, has it not gone far enough? Should there be a maximum age limit at all?
It is understandable some people for whatever reason, health, home tragedy etc. just will not be able to graduate before they are 26 years of age and will have the option to return now to school. Heck this article says they are now able to help older immigrants.......But are there any pros or cons to this age limit? Or even having a maximum age limit at this point?
