‘Promotion’ is a descriptive term for the mix of communication activities, which a service organization carries out in order to influence the public on whom their sales depend.


It is an element in an organization’s marketing mix that serves to inform, persuade, or/ and remind people about an organization or individual goods, service, image, ideas, community involvement or impact on the society.


It is used in hopes of influencing the recipients feeling, belief or behavior through any form of communication.
