INTRODUCTION
An ink is a liquid containing various pigments and/or dyes used for coloring a surface to produce an image, text, or design. Ink is used for drawing and/or writing with a pen, brush or quill. Thicker inks, in paste form, are used extensively in letterpress and lithographicprinting. Ink is a complexmedium composed of solvents, pigments, dyes, resins, lubricants, solubilizers, surfactants, particulate matter, fluoresces, and other materials. The components of inks serve many purposes; the ink’s carrier, colorants, and other additives are used to control flow and thickness of the ink and its appearance when dry.

PROCESS STEP 1:
Oil and resins are first boiled in big bowl of iron

This process is called cooking process. This is done for pastingink In the above picture oil, razins and the solvents are being boiled in order to make a pasteurized ink.

STEP2:
Whenthe raw materials are boiled then they are converted into liquid in a machine called STUNNER

This machine is used tomake the raw ink darker. Then they are known as MEDIUM. In the above picture the raw ink is being processed in the STUNNER. This is done in big jars. Here a worker is rotating ink by hands which is done after taking the processed ink out of STUNNER.

STEP3:
AMUL INDUSTRIES

Then this jars are attached tomachine named JAR MILL.

In the above picture big jars are being rotated in jar mills. This rotation is done about 12-24 hoursin orderto become a topquality ink.

STEP 4:
AMUL INDUSTRIES

Then ink is further processed in TRIPLEROLL JAR MILL. Here the ink is converted into a finished product which is meant for sale.

In the above picture ink is being passed fromthree rolls with the use of a knife and a steel rod. It is then collected in small bowls. Now the ink is ready for sale. Different colors are YELLOW, RED, ORANGE, WHITE and BLUE. ? ? ? ?
