PREFACE
We got an opportunityto prepare the report on Amul Industries. It gives us immense pleasure to present this report against you. This report helps me to understand the basic terminologies related to the Production of INK. Inks are one of the most importantingredients of printing industry and with the advancement of printing industry, need for the development of new types of Inks has also enhanced considerably. Inks are basically made in the form of paste and liquid ink depending upon the type of application. With the growing industrialization and urbanization, the demand for printing jobs and thereby for the ink is increasing day by day.

INTRODUCTION
An ink is a liquid containing various pigments and/or dyes used for coloring a surface to produce an image, text, or design. Ink is used for drawing and/or writing with a pen, brush or quill. Thicker inks, in paste form, are used extensively in letterpress and lithographicprinting. Ink is a complexmedium composed of solvents, pigments, dyes, resins, lubricants, solubilizers, surfactants, particulate matter, fluoresces, and other materials. The components of inks serve many purposes; the ink’s carrier, colorants, and other additives are used to control flow and thickness of the ink and its appearance when dry.
